I've got mail!

My apologies if this post seems slightly rambling, I'm just a tad distracted these days! I had originally intended to write about my new books & magazines from amazon.co.jp, but I've got so many other wonderful things in the last few days I just have to mention them.
Mail_kumiI placed my amazon japan order through the very nice Kumi at atielier JADE. Not only does she have a forwarding service for Japanese goods, she has her own small shop. I ordered this wonderful fabric and ribbon from her. Then I did a swap with Kelly at buzzville for one of the deer she got from Japan. Mail_kelly_3Not only was she kind enough to let me defer my swappage until after the holidays, she sent some extra goodies! Cookies, origami paper, some wonderful fabric and rick rack! I was just thinking I needed some of that. My secret pal sent me some chocolate with great packaging. Mail_chocolate_3And then there are the Christmas ornaments! One of Blair's lovely little sweaters, and a yeti from Maitreya. Soon, one of Lyn's incredible little trees will be joining the gang. One year, I hope to have this Mail_tree_1tree overfilled with wonderful craftiness! (Sorry, this picture doesn't pop up, too blurry) But what's that at the top of the tree, you ask? It's Mail_hand_2a gorgeous antimacassar hand from the one and only Lady Linoleum. My gourd goblin Chad  went off to sunny So Cal to further his film career in exchange for this wonderful piece, which will definitely be displayed year round. So thank you, thank you, thank you Kumi, Kelly, Blair, Lyn, Maitreya, secret pal and Regina! I hope you all have the best Christmas ever!

I am so jealous you are getting one of those wonderful little trees from Lyn! Love it when Santa comes early!

Wow, you've been getting great mail-- what fun things!

Awesome stuff! Love the trees too...

Mail has been very, very good to you.

Thank you for providing the impetus to finally look up the word "antimacassar"

here's the definition:

I was reading a book recently (can't remember which one, possibly something by Jane Austen, which makes sense), and I came across the word. I resolved to look it up but then I forgot, so thanks for reminding me!
