quilting monday: pink & purple ponies
My next quilt is not holiday related, and is not from a book. I'm basing it around a roughly 30"x30" satiny panel that my grandmother sent me last year. (She said it was mine when I was younger, but I don't remember it). The image in the center of the picture is a print of it. I'm still choosing fabrics, but the ones I have so far are in the photo. I'm also going to print some fabric with my gocco, using the image on the right. I'll decide what colors to use when I get all of the fabric together. I'm having a bit of a problem finding matches or blends for the weird green/gold color. It's really one of those 70's specials!

Rose, my daughter would gladly be your personal assistant on this project, everything about this she would love, the horses, the colors you're working with, everything. It's going to be so wonderful, and good for you for taking the time to graph it out and plan so well. I'm so reckless when I start something big, always the impatient one.

well, now, what girl doesn't love pretty pink ponies? Come on, we're all sistahs here, it's okay to admit it.
I think that the day I was able to embrace my inner Snow White was the day that I really started living.

You'll find the colors eventually. You need to go to a really large fabric store.
