illustration friday: simple
Surprisingly, this was a difficult topic for me! I'm the type of person who sees complexity in everything, so it's back to the archaic word definitions this week.
Simple (n): A medicinal plant or the medicine obtained from it.
So, here's a simple drawing of a simple (chamomile) and the simple derived from it, tea. It's a simple remedy to calm the nerves and soothe an upset stomach.

Very gentle and soothing...like chamomile. I like the fine lines of the plant and the hints of color.

What a great exercise to go at this the way you did. I love doing that, feeling like I'm stretching a little. Very nice.

Your line work in all your pieces is very soothing, maybe even simple...easy to look at. I enjoy all your work.
