illustration friday: song
I love waking up to the birds singing in the morning. It gives me a sense of all being right with the world. The background of this image was done with water-soluble colored pencil, and the bird and tree are done with Pigma pen. I'm liking these simpler drawings a lot, a think I'll stick with this for a while and see where it goes.

That's so pretty! It'd make a great greeting card or even a nice tattoo design (probably for someone's shoulder).

I agrees with carolyn, I am reminded of spring. I too love hearing the birds, and with the mild, off and on winter here in the Northeast, I have heard (and seen) alot of birds.
