Woodland Scene

Woodland_scene_1

Another little vignette. I love making these so much, and have so many ideas for them, that I have created a new category. Yay! The deer were made in the usual amount of time, but the tree....I spent way too much time on it. This is how it started out:

Yikes! It was, you know, supposed to be like branches, then I was going to sew boughs on top of the branches. Sigh. Sometimes you just can't "make it work", so I redid it.  The "new" boughs were a Big Pain to turn, but I think it all turned out OK in the end. Oh, the things we do for our craft!

I love your little scene's - I find them really cheering. The tree is awesome by the way.

These are so cool! I love seeing the embroidery.

These are very cool Rose, I could see a children's book idea forming here.

How wonderful, I've never seen anything ling them, so original.

Your efforts were totally worth it!

Really do love these Rose! I agree with Blair, definately a childrens book here.

So beautiful. I love everything about it - the embroidery, the mood, the bigger deer looking back - spectacular
